Welcome to P.A.W.S. of Michigan
P.A.W.S. (Precious Animal Welfare Society) of Michigan is a 501 (c) (3), all-volunteer group that promotes the humane, compassionate, and responsible treatment of all animals. It is our mission to protect and care for homeless animals by placing them with loving foster families until compatible permanent homes can be found, and to engage in benevolent and charitable activities to support this goal.

Annual photo contest winners announced
Congratulations to the winners of our annual “Precious Pets” photo contest, held during the Wyandotte Street Fair. The winners all earned great prizes courtesy of Pet Supplies Plus. Thank you to all who entered the contest and came out to vote or purchase some of our great P.A.W.S. merchandise. All told, we raised almost $7000 on this fundraiser, all of which goes directly to help the homeless animals in our program.

PAWS in the Park 2015
Planning is underway for our biggest event of the year – PAWS in the Park! This year’s event is scheduled for September 12. We are currently seeking sponsors to help us make the event a huge success.
