Welcome to P.A.W.S. of Michigan

P.A.W.S. (Precious Animal Welfare Society) of Michigan is a 501 (c) (3), all-volunteer group that promotes the humane, compassionate, and responsible treatment of all animals.  It is our mission to protect and care for homeless animals by placing them with loving foster families until compatible permanent homes can be found, and to engage in benevolent and charitable activities to support this goal.

Save a life!  Spay or neuter your pets!

PAWS in the Park 2014 is September 13th!

PAWS in the Park is P.A.W.S. of Michigan’s dog walk and pet lovers festival held annually at Young Patriots Park in Riverview, MI.  It is a fun day filled with food, music, vendors, adoptions, and games and contests for your dog.  Last year’s event raised over $13,500 to help the animals!  To learn more about PAWS in the Park, visit our PAWS in the Park page.

We need lots of volunteers to make PAWS in the Park successful.   Volunteers are not only needed the day of the event, but also on September 6th at the Trenton Dog Swim to pass out registration forms, and on September 7th to make raffle baskets for the event.   Get involved and help save lives!  To volunteer, email Sara at pawsinthepark@pawsofmichigan.com.

We also need donations of baked goods for the huge bake sale held at PAWS in the Park.  If you have a tasty treat you’d like to contribute for PAWS in the Park, please email Sara at pawsinthepark@pawsofmichigan.com.  Baked goods can be dropped off between 5 and 6:30 PM on Friday, September 12th at the Riverview Community Center at Young Patriots Park, or anytime during the event.

P.A.W.S. of Michigan is able to perform our vital work of saving the lives of homeless animals only through the generous support of our donors.
