PAWS in the Park
Every year in mid-September,?? P.A.W.S. of Michigan takes over Young Patriots Park in Riverview, MI and holds PAWS in the Park, a dog walk and pet lovers festival. ?? This year marks the 8th year for this wonderful event.?? Paws in the Park features
- a pledge-based stroll around the pond with people and their pets
- event t-shirts and goody bags
- contests and games for you and your do
- lots of animals from P.A.W.S. of Michigan and several other rescue groups and shelters
- Kids events and clowns
- music by Wild Wayne
- a performance by the band “Caught in a Zipper”
- a putting green, sponsored by the City of Riverview
- microchipping by The PAWS Clinic, available for $25
- P.A.W.S. of Michigan merchandise and bake sale
- food and beverage for sale
- personalized pet ID tags while you wait
- raffle and silent auction
- LOTS AND LOTS OF VENDORS WITH UNIQUE AND WONDERFUL MERCHANDISE FOR SALE
