You KNOW you have the most adorable pet in the world. Here’s your chance to prove it. Every year P.A.W.S. of Michigan holds the Precious Pet Photo Contest during the Wyandotte Street Art Fair. For $10, you can enter your furry, scaly, or feathery friend’s photo in this year’s contest.
For every entry, a jar displaying your pet’s photo and name will be at the P.A.W.S. booth in front of Wyandotte City Hall during the fair. Votes will be cast by fair patrons by placing a donation in the jar of who they feel should be the winner. The pets with the most money collected at the end of the Street Fair will win amazing prizes donated by Pet Supplies Plus. And the donations your pets earn will help P.A.W.S. of Michigan’s spay/neuter assistance programs and Pet Food Bank.
To enter, please print an entry form and submit it with your $10 fee to

Do you have stray cats hanging around? Do you want to help them, but don’t know where to start?
Come to our FREE feral cat workshop to learn more about TNR – trap, neuter, return. You’ll be able to make a feral shelter out of a plastic tote, and get hints and tips from other trappers.
Southgate Lowe’s donated a limited number of materials to make the shelters, and they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the workshop, one set per person. If you want to guarantee that you’ll have materials to make a shelter, you should bring the following with you:
A large plastic covered tub/tote (approximately 30 gallons)
A small plastic covered tub/tote (approximately 20 gallons)
A 12-inch plastic flower pot. Choose a pot that does not taper too much at the bottom if possible
A hair dryer
To receive email updates on the workshop, email Gina at [email protected].
