After more than14 years of helping animals, the P.A.W.S. of Michigan Board of Directors has voted to dissolve the organization.  This is due to a lack of volunteers.  The few of us who are still involved are just spread too thin and, sadly, it’s time to close the book on this wonderful group.   We are targeting to complete the dissolution process by December 31, 2021.

During our tenure, P.A.W.S. found new, loving homes for hundreds of cats and dogs, and helped subsidize the cost of spay or neuter surgery for thousands more.  Along the way, P.A.W.S. raised the money for and launched a high quality, high volume spay/neuter clinic.  The PAWS Clinic just celebrated its 10th anniversary.  In those 10 years, the clinic has spayed or neutered almost 72,000 cats and dogs at an affordable price.  So, either directly or indirectly, P.A.W.S. of Michigan has made a substantial difference for the animals and families of southeastern Michigan.

While we are sad to be dissolving our organization, we are very proud of all the good we’ve done along the way.  Thank you for being part of that journey, and for all you’ve done to help us help the animals.

Sincerely,

The P.A.W.S. of Michigan Board of Directors
