Welcome to P.A.W.S. of Michigan

P.A.W.S. (Precious Animal Welfare Society) of Michigan is a 501 (c) (3), all-volunteer organization.  Our mission is to advocate for the humane, compassionate, and responsible treatment of all animals by promoting and funding spaying and neutering efforts, as well as supporting other initiatives that provide care and comfort to animals in need.

Please note that we no longer have a foster program, and cannot accept any new animals for adoption.

Save a life!  Spay or neuter your pets!

Annual meeting - November 14

Join us for our annual meeting at 7:00pm on November 14th at JP McGuires Bar and Restaurant in Taylor.  This is a great time to meet or reconnect with others who are concerned about animal welfare, and to learn more about P.A.W.S. and our recent activities.  We'll meet in the banquet room at JP's.  Note that each attendee is responsible for their food and drink bill.

Pictures with Santa - December 1st

Save the date to have your pet's photo taken with Santa Paws at The PAWS Clinic.   Santa will be at the clinic from 11am until 2pm on December 1st.  Photos are free with a donation of pet food items for our Pet Food Bank.  Help us "Stuff the sleigh" with food and keep every furry stomach full this holiday season.  Read more about this event in the News-Herald.

Help PAWS with everyday activities

Did you know that you can help P.A.W.S. of Michigan help animals in simple ways doing things you normally do anyway, like grocery shopping, walking your dog, shopping online, and searching the internet?  Check out our Other Ways To Help section for easy ways that you can help the animals

P.A.W.S. of Michigan is able to perform our vital work of saving the lives of homeless animals only through the generous support of our donors.
