Tired of seeing all those stray cats in your neighborhood?  Well you can help!  P.A.W.S. is in the process of opening a low cost, high quality spay and neuter clinic for the public, people feeding feral colonies and rescue groups to utilize.  With this service, we intend to reduce the number of homeless animals wandering the streets, starving and endangering their lives.  But to do this we need your assistance!  If you wish to donate to our clinic fund, please send your donation to:

P.A.W.S. Pet Food Bank

P.A.W.S of Michigan is pleased to announce a new program to help keep pets in their family homes as they should be instead of in a shelter!  Due to the poor economy many people are finding it difficult to feed themselves much less their animals and so have been forced to give up their loving animal companions.  We will be accepting donated pet food and distributing it to area food banks.   The food banks have agreed to distribute these pet food donations while they distribute their regular food.  If you have pet food to donate or need more information on where to receive food please email us at petfood@pawsofmichigan.com or call @ 734-629-3837.

P.A.W.S. is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, which relies on fundraising and donations to help our animals.  There are many ways to donate.  If you wish to make a general donation, you may simply click on our PayPal link, and make your donation.  If you wish to donate to one of our specific animals in need, you may click on the PayPal link and put the name of the animal in the memo box.  Or, if you choose not to use PayPal, please send your donation to the PO Box listed below.  We thank you for your donations and your willingness to help an animal in need.  You can read the whole story on these animals and more by visiting our Heartbreakers link or clicking on the images below.

Make Hero a hero in memory as well as name

hero

PAWS pulled Hero from the Wyandotte Pound after he was diagnosed with a grade 6 (out of 6) heart murmur. It was thought he had an operable condition. When he was taken in for the surgery it was found out that he has a terminal heart condition. It devastated everyone, most especially his foster mom. His foster Mom had agreed to keep him until he develops problems. It was expected that he wouldn't live to his 2nd birthday.

It is with heavy hearts we had to let Hero go and cross that Rainbow Bridge. He took a turn for the worse and was having trouble breathing. We will miss this very cuddly dog very much. We are hoping he can be a hero for other animals that can be helped that have expensive medical needs. So we are hoping you can find it in your heart to make a donation in his name to PAWS to help other animals that do have a chance at a good life but just need some help medically.
